When we become disconnected from ourselves, we often begin to live in our head and cling to our thoughts, which often have us chasing our tails and getting nowhere fast. When this happens, it’s time to reconnect our head with our heart by listening to ourselves on the Labyrinth path.
When we feel like the world is too much, we often lose our connection with our bodies. We can retun to being our own safe place by returning our attention to how our bodies connect with the physical world around us. Connecting to nature is often so soothing, and touching natural objects such as trees, moss, rocks is very grounding for our nervous systems. It isn’t easy to live against the grain of a society that encourages us to neglect our physical needs in the interest of achieving more and more. It’s truly radical to experience a sense of being enough the way we are and worthy of rest and reintegration of all our parts.
