An audio narration of the poem that appears below:
A colony of fern huddle close together,
Laced with frosty crystals.
They draw warmth from nearby trees.
A pile of stones sits atop a giant rock
Near an old stone wall.
Trinkets in my coat pocket,
Never made it into the house I built,
Bring back the yumminess of the chocolate pudding
Topped with whipped cream that was my dessert,
Yesterday evening.
A walk in the vibrant Winter Wonderland I call home
Calls me toward an Adventure of heart and soul
Within.
